I am currently Ulster Town Clerk,
with nearly 10 years of experience in office.
I have a 'Full Time' track record of proven success in government and have
served the public faithfully in a non-partisan matter. My office has been
distinguished for its professionalism and accessibility to the public.
I have a great staff that shares my values of public service.

Key Achievements:
- Digitizing of the Town Code Book at no cost to the taxpayer that is available for free on the Town website TownOfUlster.org. This has saved the town over $26,000 during my tenure, for the town no longer has to hire a third party company to update the town code book, and this will continue to save money as laws that are added, adopted and modified are updated in house.
- Developing an electronic records database, the foundation of e-government, that allows for quick access and sharing of information among various town departments and the public. It further offers labor cost savings, space consolidation, increased records security and information back-up.
- Writing and pursuing grants and requesting donations for the Town Clerk's Office, resulting in approximately $30,000 toward the Town's records program of microfilming, preserving files and digitally achieving records.
- Offering free notary services to the public.
- Continuing my education in public service throughout my tenure as Town Clerk and earning the Registered Municipal Clerk (RMC) title sponsored by the NYS Association of City and Village Clerks and the New York State Town Clerks Association.
Goals:
- To finalize the consolidation of the Town Tax Collector's position with the Town Clerk's Office and to optimize the town's savings.
- To develop a Mastor Records Plan to ensure the transition from paper to electronic records and to increase the town's potential for grant opportunities.
- To continue to import the Town's microfilm and paper records into the Town's electronic records database.
